About the artist....

If you have ever met me at a show you know that I am a very outgoing person, honest, bubbly and enthusiastic about what I do. So selling my jewelry and promoting the laser engravings suits me and my personality.

Glimmer Glass Gifts began in 2003 when a friend asked me to make stain glass favors for her wedding. The heart favors were a tremendous success and I immediately enrolled in a class for small business entrepreneurs. I met a woman in class who asked me to participate in a craft show she was organizing at her community center. So I made up some favors and off I went to my first show. I made $90. I was ecstatic! I kept expanding my product line and enrolling in craft fairs, but success eluded me! But never one to give up, I kept on trying and trying and trying! I produced new items, refined my product, bought a kiln and branched into Dichroic glass. Through a lot of trial and error I have finally found a product line that I love to make and people love to wear. And I got my wish to be a stay at home Mom with my twins. I am loving every minute of it.

Now the laser side of the business came upon me very differently. My father saw it displayed at a home show in Florida and came home and told me about it. So my husband and I drove out to Massachusetts to see the laser engraver. I fell in love with it and thought I could make some wonderful keepsakes with it. Not quite sure how I would ultimately utilize it, I took a chance and bought the laser in February of 2006.

Of course, then the unexpected happened .... I became pregnant in March! My husband and I closed on our house in June, gutted it, and finally moved in October 2006. The twins arrived in November. So needless to say I’ve been a little busy and I have not done much with the product line until this year. I plan on adding new products to the website and will branch out to customizing awards and corporate gifts. So check it out!
